We left the house that me and Dave are currently renting (until our new house is complete) and spent a few hours on Saturday and Sunday taking down the rest of the plaster and lath walls in the living room.
1. Will it take 4 years to pull up the rest of the kitchen flooring?
2. Will the floors be in good enough shape?
3. Is it worth investing the time to yank up the rest?
Up next is the ceiling in the living room. (I am steering clear of the ceiling. Yes, I am kind of a wimp when thinking about the stuff that may come crashing down on top of me.) But I am absolutely convinced that there are more treasures up there to discover.
On another note, Anne told me about a website that allows you to research the history of your property. You can plug in your town or township to view a map and find out who owned your land way back when. We found out who owned our farmhouse in 1887. Take a peek. It's very interesting. Who owned your land?
Thanks a ton for helping us Anner. I owe you a pair of Pajama Jeans. xxoo
